The Giant Swing
I got clipped on , I was pulled up high . I looked down and felt terrified . My hand reached out , I pulled the string , And looked at my partner , who had a big grin . We dropped as quickly as a lightning bolt , And swung as my stomach made a huge jolt . We swung back and forth , low and high . The wind in my ears was whistling by . We finally stopped and unclipped the chain , My terror was gone – now I want to go again !

My PGL Trip
I couldn ’ t wait for my first school trip away , I set the alarm early for the next day . As the bus pulled away we were excited for sure , Mums waved us off nervously , as if leaving for war . It was dreamy to ra on the deep glistening lake , Un l I slipped off and then I was awake ! We built up a sweat in the dirty , brown mud , I belly flopped down , gosh ! I made a loud thud . For the aero-ball game we had to be agile and fast , I tried to catch the ball quickly so it didn ’ t fly past . Laurie
