Key Information
Overview
The philosophy of our programme is to broaden and extend knowledge
and skills within the field of physiotherapy and encourage your
personal and professional development. The option module allows
you to select what best suits your own requirements for personal
and professional development. Research Methods in Health module
and the Dissertation module, together with Evidence Based Practice
or Assessment and Measurement, develop your research capabilities
and critical evaluation skills. Our programme is designed to provide
opportunity to question and challenge current practice in aspects
of physiotherapy and to enable you to explore, in depth, areas of
professional interest. We aim to enable you to evaluate evidence both
for current practice and for new approaches in physiotherapy practice.
You will learn through a range of different learning and teaching
activities. These are led by a variet y of experienced authorities in their
field; therefore you will receive a wide knowledge base from both
academics, researchers and expert clinical practitioners. The learning
and teaching experience promotes interdisciplinary perspectives and
a holistic approach to the management and rehabilitation of patients.
Our MSc Physiotherapy will meet your individual needs to review
and evaluate the background of the physiotherapy profession and to

I feel privileged to have come to study
in Keele because of the phenomenal
teaching staff and resourceful
sources of literature that have helped
me during my master’s. Also, it is
not often that one gets a change
to study at the best university for
physiotherapy in England and I feel
honoured to be a student of Keele.
