Key Information
Overview
Our MSc in Finance and Management is designed to provide you
with a systematic understanding of finance, financing and the modern
organisation. It includes a comprehensive and rigorous treatment
of core modern financial theory and the latest developments in
management theory and practice, with a focus on practical application
in real world business environments. The programme is delivered
in a supportive and challenging learning environment enabling
you to gain a range of practical skills and the ability to perform
a comprehensive analysis of business behaviour and corporate
performance in order to successfully make decisions.
It will equip you for a wide range of future careers in financial
management, including investment management and a broad range
of finance related functions in both commercial and public organisations.
You will develop analytical and technical skills in finance alongside
the professional and management techniques of operational, strategic
and financial management. You will also become competent in the use
of quantitative tools and empirical techniques which can be applied
to a wide range of organisational problems.
