Our alumni
community
Earning a degree from Keele is a great achievement
but it is far more than a qualification –
it is an experience for life. Our unique campus
community generates a loyalty and affection
envied by other universities: our students
become Forever Keele.
Keele people make a difference in their communities
around the world. We are in touch with over 54,000 alumni
in 165 countries. We help to keep people in touch with
one another – as friends and as professional connections.
Keele people form lifelong bonds so we offer opportunities
to celebrate your friendships. Through our Keele in the World
networks, Alumni Circles and social media channels, we also
help you to connect with fellow alumni – and with students –
for professional and career networking.
Paul Austin
Make a difference
We like to ask our alumni to make a difference. When Paul Austin
(International Relations, 1980) asked us if he could make
a difference by offering an internship at the European headquarters
of Newsweek magazine, at Canary Wharf in London, we were
happy to say yes.
Who better to benefit from the opportunity to work on this
prestigious publication than the newly elected editor of
Concourse, Keele’s newspaper written by students for students.
Within two weeks, Natalie Ilsley (English and American
Literatures, 2015) had begun her real life experience
of current affairs journalism.
