The Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences brings together our
expertise across health, humanities and social sciences, and
natural sciences, and is the place where you can meet, discuss
and collaborate with people from all academic disciplines.
The institute provides a range of opportunities to
enhance the cultural and academic postgraduate
experience at Keele. Our Grand Challenges Programme
enables you to engage with eminent speakers offering
innovative perspectives on the complex problems we
face, stimulating debate and prompting you to make
new connections between the disciplines and think
beyond your boundaries.

encourages you to network with researchers from across
