Why study this course?
The Social Science Foundation Year is a well-established programme, providing the ideal
preparation to study for a degree across a wide range of disciplines including law, politics,
sociology, criminology, international relations and many more.
Contemporary society is complex and ever evolving; this course offers
the opportunity to develop the necessary questioning and analytical skills
needed to unpack contemporary issues and challenges. The social sciences
seek to address difficult questions and/or answers that might point the way
to a more equal and sustainable future for humanity.
What will this mean for my future?
A Social Sciences Foundation Year allows progression to degree courses
