Why study this course?
The Science Foundation Year provides students with the opportunity to study, in a university
setting, the skills and subject knowledge required to progress to a wide range of science
degrees.
This course provides a scientific background customised to your needs as
well as enhanced study skills. Depending on your chosen degree you will
study modules from the life, physical, geographical and environmental
sciences; mathematics; computing or psychology.
What will this mean for my future?
Progression onto a Keele science degree will provide the numerical and
analytical thinking skills valued by many employers looking for talented
graduates.
Indicative Modules
You will take modules related to your
intended degree subject. You will study
mathematics to an appropriate levelĀ and
