passent toutes les commandes et tiennent les registres des stocks afin que les hôtels ne manquent de rien. C’ est aussi cette équipe qui conçoit les nouveaux hôtels ainsi que les rénovations, et elle contribue à leur réalisation.
Coordonnatrice du service des hôtels, Guylaine Lebreux s’ assure que chaque hôtel a les outils nécessaires pour répondre aux besoins de sa clientèle. Détentrice d’ un certificat en supervision hôtelière de l’ Institut de tourisme et d’ hôtellerie du Québec, elle apporte quotidiennement son aide aux gérants d’ hôtel ainsi qu’ au service à la clientèle. À la FCNQ depuis 1978, Guylaine a œuvré dans différents services – de la réception à la comptabilité en passant par les ventes, le tourisme et aujourd’ hui le Service de gestion-conseil et comptabilité des coopératives. À son arrivée, il n’ y avait pas de liaison téléphonique entre le Nord et le Sud, et il fallait communiquer par ondes courtes.
Amanda Hoogland travaille à la FCNQ depuis avril 2002; elle a fait ses débuts au service des expéditions tout en étudiant la photographie au Collège Dawson. En août 2007, intriguée par le Nunavik, elle a postulé au service des hôtels. Son premier voyage lui a permis de réaliser qu’ elle avait trouvé sa place. Elle travaille aujourd’ hui en étroite collaboration avec les gérants d’ hôtel, les aidant à résoudre leurs problèmes quotidiens. Elle apprécie ses déplacements annuels au Nunavik, qui lui permettent de faire de nouvelles rencontres en plus de voir les gérants et les clients.
Véronique Boucher travaille pour la FCNQ en tant qu’ agente de réservation depuis mai 2014. Elle prend les réservations, s’ occupe des contrats de groupe, optimise l’ occupation des chambres et produit des rapports statistiques sur l’ achalandage. Elle aime aider les visiteurs des treize hôtels des coopératives et répondre à leurs demandes.

Laura Shanahan( ᓗᐊᔭ ᓵᓇᖄᓐ) ᕗᑐᕋᐃᒥᐅᖅ ᐊᒻᒪᓗ ᑕᓚᕖᓴᑎᒍᑦ ᑕᑯᓐᓇᕈᓐᓇᐅᑎᓕᕆᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᐊᓪᓚᕕᒻᒥ ᐱᓇᓱᓕᕐᓱᓂ ᐊᕐᕌᒎᓐᓂ ᒪᕐᕉᓂ. ᐃᑲᔪᕐᓯᒪᓲᖅ ᐱᑦᔪᔨᔭᑦᑎᓂᑦ ᐊᒻᒪᓗ ᑯᐊᐯᑦ ᑕᑯᓐᓇᕈᓐᓇᐅᑎᖃᕐᑎᓯᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᐊᑭᓕᕐᑕᐅᒍᑎᑦᓴᖏᓐᓂᑦ ᐊᑐᐃᓐᓇᕈᕐᑎᓲᒍᑦᓱᓂ, with her knowledge of accounting. When Lucille retired, Sinang kept working under François Day as an accounting technician for bank reconciliations for all the co-ops. Sinang loved to work for the Inuit people – it was her honor! Sinang retired in September 2016.
Co-op Cable TV
Erin Roberts and Laura Shanahan are on the front line, supporting customers when it comes to cable TV services. When a customer has an issue with their cable, it is one of these two who will receive the call. They work very closely with the local technicians to keep things running smoothly.
Erin Roberts is from Rigaud and has been working at the FCNQ for Co-op Cable TV since 2010. She is proud to have helped in the implementation of the digital cable service to eight communities over the years. In addition to helping customers with cable inquiries and issues, Erin has also taken on the task of aiding with land lease administrative work. She has had the opportunity to travel to three Nunavik communities and looks forward to the occasion to travel to others.
Laura Shanahan is from Vaudreuil and has worked for Co-op Cable TV for two years. She assists customers and co-ops with invoicing inquiries, connecting and disconnecting accounts as well as managing the signal providers. She has fabulous coworkers that she looks forward to seeing every morning. When she is not at work, Laura enjoys the outdoors with her dog.
Nunavik Co-op Hotels
This team is involved in all aspects of hotel operations. All reservations for guests pass through this department, a task that requires a lot of precision and attention. The hotel division is also in charge of the 24-hour support line for guests. They also work very closely with the managers on any issues they need help with and travel to the communities to train new hotel managers. They order all the supplies and keep track of inventories so that the hotels never run out. This team also designs and helps set up all new hotels and renovations.
