Appuyer les gestionnaires; analyser, vérifier, enregistrer et payer les factures; équilibrer les comptes; élaborer des procédures d’ audit; préparer des budgets; dresser des inventaires; produire des états financiers … Voilà les tâches colossales qui incombent à l’ équipe du Service de gestion-conseil et comptabilité des coopératives de la FCNQ.
Cette équipe joue un rôle essentiel, celui de voir à la santé financière de l’ organisation et d’ appuyer les coopératives dans leurs projets. Grâce à sa vigilance et à sa rigueur, la FCNQ a une bonne cote de crédit auprès des institutions financières, et sa réputation permet aux coopératives d’ obtenir le financement dont elles ont besoin pour leurs projets. Les banques, pourtant parfois réticentes à investir en région éloignée, sont en effet rassurées par le fait que la FCNQ et tout le mouvement coopératif se portent garants de ces projets.

They do essential work, seeing to the organization’ s financial health and allowing it to support cooperatives in their initiatives. Thanks to this department’ s vigilance and diligence, the FCNQ has earned a reputation as a good credit risk among financial institutions, and cooperatives can get the funding they need for their projects.
