“I don’t want to live”
Within her remark the first drop of dew falls
A watery pathway trails away on her cheek
She watches as the drop of tear departs from her
Bursting into meaningless tiny shatters
“I hate myself.”
Another remark and no longer can the dews exist
The shadows of emotions launch themselves
Into the overflowed pathway, the rushing stream
A croak escapes from her throat
“I just want to be a different person.”
The words seemed to have been griping her
For she sat, motionless, frowning as if to struggle
But thenShe begins to cry
“I don’t want to live”
She looks up
Her own voice lands on her ear
The same words- The same miseryYet the night air doesn’t hold anything
Only the faint shadows of the shaking leaves
Only herself crouching under the damp lamplight
“Do away with the tears.”
