The Chinese :
It is estimated that the early Chinese inhabited the area around the Yellow River and the Yangtze River in the period between 8000 and 2205 BC . They built small villages and made a living by farming . Just a small period later , the process of producing silk cloth was developed . You ’ ve definitely heard about the world ’ s seven wonders . China ’ s first Emperor has built one of them , the Great Wall of China , in order to keep his people safe from the attack of the Mongols . The Chinese people named the city in which their emperor lived in “ The Forbidden City ,” as a sign of their fear from their rulers . The Chinese worked really hard every day of the week to earn a living , but they had many annual festivals that they have families gather together for to celebrate .
Our World Today :
People of those ancient civilizations worked hard not only to make their lives easier , but to also secure a better world for their descendants . As Egyptians , it is our duty to respect and understand our ancient civilization to represent our country well .
