Creativity, Culture and Community on Campus

ArtsKeele is the University’ s arts and cultural programme, bringing inspiring, accessible and free creative experiences to students throughout the year as well as programming events for local communities. From exhibitions and performances to workshops and major public events, our aim is to make creativity part of everyday life at Keele.
What We Do
At its heart, ArtsKeele supports a vibrant cultural community on campus. We curate an annual programme of arts events including music, visual art, literature, film, talks, and hands-on creative activities. All our events are free for students, and we work closely with partners across the University and arts and cultural organisations across the wider region.
One of our key collaborations this year is with Campus Life, with whom we’ re developing a year-round series of creative workshops.
These sessions give students the chance to learn new skills, unwind, meet new people, and explore artistic expression in a friendly, supportive environment. So far we have organised clay workshops, textile banner making, Ugly Wreaths at Christmas using recycled materials, and as part of Mental Health Week an exploration of colour theory.
