Fresh Ways to Use That Minty Fresh Tootpaste
You, hopefully, use it every day to brush your teeth, but this viscous minty mixture has more uses
that making your pearly whites gleam. The oldest recipe for toothpaste: crushed rock salt, mint, dried iris flowers, and pepper, originated with ancient Egyptians in 4AD. Since then the
composition of toothpaste has changed and so has its utility.
Have you ever been driving at night and thought “I can see about as well as Polyphemus after his run in with Odysseus!”? If that’s the case, your headlights are probably oxidized and cloudy, restricting the amount of light reaching the road ahead. Now I’m no genius but I’m pretty sure you need light to see, so grab a tube of toothpaste and a clean microfiber cloth or a rag and get to work! You’re going to want to get your cloth a little moist and put some of that good ol’ mint mush on it. Once you’ve done that scrub your dingy headlights until you think your arm might fall off. Rinse off the residue and check out your spiffy new lamps!

Let’s be real here, team; we’re not as careful with our electronics as we should be. Scratched phone screens plague this generation like bad hair-do’s plagued our parent’s. Get rid of your phones unsightly blemish with a little peppermint magic, a damp cloth, a dry cloth, and your very own phalanges. Smear your scratched screen with the tooth-goo using your finger, then when you’ve rubbed it in well wipe is off with a damp cloth. Don’t forget to dry your scratch-free phone; touchscreens and water are not good pals.
