SHERBROOKE
SHOWS SUPPORT
In response to last Sunday’s
mass shooting incident in
Orlando, Fla., the city of Sherbrooke has joined in on the support of the victims. The City of
Sherbrooke's Mayor Bernard
Sevigny ordered a rainbow flag
to be flying at City Hall. The flag
can be seen flying atop the structure to honor the memory of
those lives lost as a result of this
violent crime.

POINTS NORTH AT
FARMERS MARKET
June 18 is the date for the
upcoming weekly Farmers’ Market in Lancaster, and, with that,
more great local music. This
week, Points North is coming to
play at the Centennial Park
gazebo from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Points North is a traditional
dance music group based in
northern N.H. With Paul Corm-
ier on accordion and fiddle, Hildy
Danforth on hammered dulcimer
and recorder, Tom Meredith
playing banjo and guitar, Rachel
O’Meara on flute, and David Van
Houten on cittern and guitar,
Points North has a variety of
sounds. Their repertoire come
from Appalachia, to the British
Isles, including tunes from New
England and Quebec. Be sure to
stop on by to listen to the group
while shopping locally.
The market is located in Centennial Park in Lancaster, open
from 9 to noon every Saturday
until the beginning of October.
There is an abundance of fresh
produce, locally raised meat, free
range eggs, delicious baked
goods, and handmade, artisan
crafts. Thanks to the Market’s
generous sponsors (The Center
for Acupuncture, EXIT Realty,
the Mountain View Grand Resort
and Spa, and Lancaster Eye
Care), they can bring the fruits
of your neighbor’s labor to you. If
you have any questions, visit the
Market’s
