LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
I ’ m excited to announce the newest edition to the Club management team . Ricky Weber has joined the Eaglebrooke family as the 2nd ever Head Golf Professional at our facility following John Greiner ’ s retirement . Please join us on Wednesday , June 2 for a “ Meet the Pro ” reception in the Trophy Room at 5:00PM . Below is a brief bio on Ricky :
RICKY A . WEBER , PGA Ricky has been in golf management for over 20 years and a golf professional in the Central Florida region since 1998 . Ricky earned his Class “ A ” membership with the Professional Golfers Association of America in 2007 . In 2012 he was awarded the North Florida PGA West Central Chapter Merchandiser of Year .
He has competed in over 65 North Florida PGA Section and Chapter events as well participated in two US Open qualifiers , three PGA Tour Monday qualifying events and the 2011 Colorado Open qualifier .
Ricky was born and raised in Lakewood , Colorado and moved to Florida in 1991 . He joined the US Navy in 1992 and served as an airman on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise ( CVN-65 ). The final year of his service he cross rated and become a Religious Program Specialist and joined the All-Navy Golf Team and competed in the Armed Forces Golf Championship Qualifier at NAS Pensacola , FL .
Upon completion of the Navy , Ricky attended The San Diego Golf Academy ( South Campus , Orlando , FL ) and earned a degree in Sports Complex Operations and Management .
Ricky and his Family ( Wife Peggy and two boys Tyler , 19 and Cayden , 15 ) reside in Wesley Chapel , FL .
Ricky is very much looking forward to joining the team at Eaglebrooke and continuing the legacy and traditions .
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind all members and residents that the “ golf course ” property is to be used by registered golfers only . We prohibit all walkers , dog walkers , fishermen , joy riders , etc . from being on the golf course grounds . Thank you in advance for your cooperation .
