After taking the front-facing shot , it ' s time to get creative with angled shots to add depth and dynamics to your photos . This is an opportunity to showcase your cake from different angles and create visual interest . Since most people are accustomed to seeing the standard front-facing photos , experimenting with angled shots can make your photos stand out and generate more engagement . As you can see in one of my examples here , my photographer used a ' fisheye ' lens effect to add a quirky twist to the photo .
