AMY LASSERS The Araho Group Amy has been willing to help in many ways since joining the Board of Directors this year . She gave a moving LEAP Talk at our Retreat and Housing Summit , wrote articles for Trends Magazine and became involved with IROC midway through the year - with a goal of expanding membership benefits for small owners . Additionally , she led a Charity Auction committee which hosted its first event since 2019 and raised $ 30,000 for Apartments Giving Back and Family Homestead .
JOSH LENSEN Arbor Contract Carpet Josh has served so many important roles at AAMD this year , including Supplier Director on the Board where he always represented the best interests of our Supplier Partners . Josh served as committee chair and lead sponsor for the Golf Super Series - a 4-tournament event AAMD designed around the need to have more outdoor events . Additionally , Josh and Arbor were strong supporters and sponsors of our Charity Auction , and our leadership retreat , where Josh scored big with his powerful “ Leadership Lessons from Lasso ” presentation .
PETE MUCCIO Tschetter Sulzer Pete is a knowledgeable legal technician whose professional time is focused on advising housing providers . As a member of the AAMD Board , Pete shapes AAMD legislative policy through his role on the Joint Legislative Advisory Council ( JLAC ). His role on the Member Services chair led to additional service partnerships .
Pete participates in numerous Legislative Stakeholder Meetings on proposed legislation where he both influences housing related law before it ’ s adopted and influences the way the law is interpreted in the court room . He has written articles for Trends and taught education seminars throughout the year and his firm . Tschetter Sulzer is the largest Supplier contributor to the Alliance .
PARKE PETTEGREW BLDG Management Parke served in a wide variety of ways this year , including as an officer on the AAMD executive commitee , co-chair of the Career Initiatives Committee ( CIC ), and leadership of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program . Parke has been an instrumental leader in creating the Inclusion and Diversity committee and his philanthropic efforts were highlighted this year through his company ' s commitment to Warren Village , a non-profit supporting housing transition .
JARED MILLER RedPeak Jared is extremely active in the Association serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee , while participating in the COVID Task Force that will turn into Best Practices for the industry next year . Jared is one of the influential leaders who helped start the Inclusion and Diversity Committee . He has also contributed to government affairs in numerous occasions meeting with local and state politicians and providing valuable input as an operator on harmful legislation and ordinances . You can always catch him at an AAMD event , and he never misses a meeting . Jared ’ s leadership continues to surpass all expectations as he continually brings new ideas and valuable information to the table , while pioneering inclusion and diversity efforts within our industry .
TONYA STOROVICH Santee Metal Works Tonya has contributed to AAMD through volunteer hours , Supplier Partner participation , committee work , industry advocacy and much more . She is a senior AAMD faculty member and teaches on leasing , NOI , risk management and marketing . In addition , she teaches multiple modules for both the CAM and CALP national credential programs . Tonya currently serves on the Maintenance Mania , Trade Show and Ambassador committees along with both the Suppliers and Education Advisory Council .
