How does it feel to be crowned U18 league and cup winners?
Liam: “This year has been a very interesting, challenging and rewarding season. I am really happy that we have been able to win the double - the league and the cup. It is testament to the hard work put in by our coaches and all the players. Hopefully next year we can win the double again!”
How important was the penultimate game against Lincoln Bayside in deciding the U18 league title?
Lincoln Bayside in deciding the U18 league title?
Ethan: “Last week’s game against Bayside was a critical game in this year’s league, as we had to not only beat a very strong team, but beat them by a large number of points. Although I couldn’t make the game, the boys put in a magnificent performance and got the result that they deserved, which in turn, allowed us to push one game further and win the league today!”
How have you improved as a player this season?

Liam: “Playing with the senior squad has definitely helped me progress as a player. It’s given me the opportunity of playing at a high level as well as learning from some of Gibraltar’s best players who are always more than happy to spread their wisdom”.
