Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion Page 32 BiggDoggs (DSC) T he past few months have flown by very quickly! The Bigg Doggs continue to make a name for themselves, participating in combatives tournaments, multiple races and runs (to include the Boston Marathon Shadow Race), and the upcoming Gauntlet Idol. I am so incredibly proud of what has been accomplished by the Soldiers of DSC in the past month, to include multiple promotions, decisions to re-enlist and awards granted for hard work and dedication. The Soldiers have shown what it truly means to be a profession of arms, diligent in their duties and professionals in everything that they do. ways keeping a smile and a positive attitude. I could not have asked for a better group of Soldiers to lead! I also want to say thank you again to all the families back in the United States. The families have provided a phenomenal support network to the Soldiers that are deployed. The ability to come together and be there for one another is remarkable! Thank you again for everything that you have done to help out! This is a bittersweet moment for me. I am happy to sing the praises of my Soldiers and highlight accomplishments, but I am also sad that this will be my last newsletter. I will be relinquishing command on 7 June to CPT Kathleen LeForte. She will do incredibly well but it is always sad to say goodbye to those that mean so much to you. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this organization and to lead the Bigg Doggs. This past year has been incredible and I cannot express in words how truly proud I am of everything that this company has accomplished.
