It’s important to distinguish between weight loss and
nutrition. While you could lose weight eating a diet of
Twinkies (as long as your total intake is less than your body
needs) you might find yourself unsatisfied or hungry more
often than if you were eating the same number of calories
made up of more nutrient rich foods.
Some days you will choose the twinkie. Other days you’ll
choose different, more nutritious options. Eventually, you’ll
begin to choose foods that leave you full and satisfied more
often than you choose foods that don’t. But as long as you
track honestly and keep your caloric intake at or below your
Weight Loss TDEE most days, you will be successful.
