Meeting was called to order by President Lynn-Ellen St . Martin at 11:00 AM Public Open Comment : none
Secretary ’ s Report : Leslie Mason Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Amber Duncanson to approve the April 6th , 2022 , Board Meeting Minutes , with noted changes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer

Arlene presented the Balance Sheet and Income Statement . YTD Net Income ( Loss ) is ($ 52,156.66 ). Earned $ 600.05 in interest from the CD ’ s from Minnco Credit Union . Have received full forgiveness of the PPP loans . Motion made by Kevin Berger , seconded by Ann Goebel , to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from April 21 , 2022 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : There are 173 clubs renewed to date , last year 180 clubs were renewed to date .
Committee Reports :
Championship Horse Show : Steve Tibbetts The contract for the fair has been signed and sent back to them . The down payment of $ 500 for the fairgrounds has been paid and the next payment is due in August .
Computer : Jake Flodquist Absent . Nothing to report .
Drills and Squares : Marlys Mooney Wright Saddle Club will be participating at the fair and we do not yet have a commitment from Menomonie Saddle Club . The stable from Hugo is that was interested in participating at the State Fair is currently on hold . Marlys has left messages for Sam at State Fair but has not heard back from her yet .
Futurity : Kathy Murphy Absent . Nothing to report .
Historian : Tim Wampfler Absent . Nothing to report .
Judges : Kim Ziegler Absent . The Judges Committee recommendation regarding the status of Sara Gronski is that her file be kept open but that her judging privileges be suspended until her conflict with Champ Show is resolved . Motion made by James Duenow to accept the Judges recommendation . After discussion from the Board , Motion amended by James Duenow , seconded by Steve Bobzin to accept the Judges recommendation , and include a 5-year timeline . Motion a carried unanimously . There is on Judge applicant this year , Alysa Austreng . Kim has requested a new Rule Books be sent to her for studying . The test will be administered to her in the near future and if she passes the written test the Judges Committee will meet with her for video testing and interviews .
