Community Park West for a reverse parade, and everyone will
join in a community-wide bell ringing to cap the night at 8 pm.

And finally, I want to thank the Glenview Park Foundation for
their commitment to supporting our community. Recognizing
the wide-reaching impact of COVID-19 on our community, the
Glenview Park Foundation has committed up to $50,000 to
support the Park District’s Leisureship Fund, which provides
recreational scholarships to children from underserved
families within the district. The Foundation and the Park
District are developing new “Recreation in a Box” activities for
fun and learning. The concept is simple -- when families can’t
come to the Park District, the Park District can come to them by
providing everything they need to enjoy the program at home.
We’ve experienced a lot of change over the past three
months, and things will continue to evolve each month still.
The staff and the park board are always here for you, to help
answer your questions and give you the most up-to-date
information. If you ever have a question, please don’t hesitate
to reach out to us by submitting a comment on our website or
calling customer service at 847-724-5670.
On behalf of the board, I hope your July is full of fun. We will
see you in the parks!
Sincerely,
Bill Casey
Park Board President
