I m p ressio n s
Earlier this year I was contacted by DDS
once again to see if I would evaluate a
husband and wife who needed help. I just
finished full upper and lower dentures on
Karl and have done several restorations, a
crown and am doing a partial on Carol.
It is hard to actually put into words how it
feels to just do dentistry to help someone
out all the while knowing it is just for that
reason alone. I would encourage anyone
to take a chance and become a volunteer
dentist for the Dental Lifeline Network
and the Donated Dental Services program.
Volunteering your time and talents from
the comfort of your own office may be
just the opportunity for you. PDA believes
so strongly in this program and has lobbied
for full funding of the program in the
Pennsylvania budget every year. For more
information on the program please check
out the website at www.DentalLifeline.org
or call (888) 471-6334.
