Canby High School Jazz Band
Charbonneau Arts volunteers are basking in the glow of a successful high school concert on June 4 , featuring the Canby High School Jazz Band . The 21-piece band , led by director Nick Luchterhand , was an award winner at the 2023 Oregon State Band Competition , and the audience of about 100 , made up of Charbonneau residents and musicians ’ families , all agreed they were deserving of that recognition !
We have already scheduled next year ’ s concert for the first Sunday in June , so watch for announcements next year so you can add it to your schedule . You will not be disappointed . We were thrilled to be able to present our first performing arts grant of $ 1,000 to the high school and hope it is the first of many to come .

We welcome folks to join the Festival Organizing Committee and to help the weekend of the event . Laura Curran will manage that part of the event with Lindy Anderson . If you ’ d like to add your name to the volunteer list , please contact Laura at lamq @ comcast . net .
Festival sponsors make the difference !
We have many different sponsorship opportunities for individuals and businesses , including music stage sponsorships like Lynda Huber ’ s support of the Music Stage Series . We are still hoping to gain a presenting sponsor at the $ 2,000 level , and a platinum level sponsor at the $ 1,000 level , but are pleased to list the sponsors to date , at more affordable levels . GOLD ($ 500 ): Nancy and William Hall ; Roof Masters , Canby ; and Wilsonville Carpet & Tile . SILVER ($ 300 ): Lynn & Lonn Liffick ; Parker Johnstone Wilsonville Honda .
