Funds to purchase statue have been received

This wonderful community did it ! Sacajawea And Son statue has a new home !
Because of the huge success of the Sacajawea Golf Tournament and some residents working together to match donations , the funds needed to purchase the stunning bronze created by Agnes Vincen Talbot have been received . We are still $ 4,000 short of the original goal of $ 52,000 which will pay for installation .
Remember , this has been a grassroots effort by a committee of residents , with no budget . Committee members donated their time , effort and personal resources to further enrich and enhance the beauty of Charbonneau .
Thank you , Charbonneau ! We will have a special party at the unveiling with special guests as well as you , the residents of this community . Stay tuned !
