Another Story Headline The Tragic storm By Jessica Jaime Another Headline What a terrible choice he made By Guadalupe Barron Julius Caesar made a terrible mistake for not listening to the soothsayer and for ignoring his wife Calpurnia. If he would of have listened, he would live to see another day. He was being obnoxious because all he wanted was to get his crown and be king of Rome. When Calpurnia woke up screaming “help, Ho! They murder Caesar!” going to be killed in her dream. He did not stop and think about the possibility that it might happen or that maybe this would worry his wife less. He did not know that her dream would've come true but he should of have given her a chance and listen to her, it would have been a huge risk if he did not listen. His terrible choice was that he went only to get what he wanted which was the crown. His character was being selfish because his wife tried very hard to make him stay, that showed that she loved him. Even though Calpurnia warned him why did he not also listen to the soothsayer that told him something at the Lupercal Festival? This soothsayer fortune teller warned him about “ides of march” which is the 15th of March. The day that he was going to the Senate house to get “crowned” of Rome was the day he warned Caesar. It was also the day that Calpurnia had that awful dream that they were going to kill him and wash their hands with his blood. It was very suspicious that he had two warnings but it did not seem to cross his mind. Would it h
