Another Headline The Tragedy of the Great Brutus By Aida On the tragic day of October 23 the noble and honorable Marcus Brutus committed suicide. Rome cries for the lost of one of her children. During the Battle of Phillipi he saw all hope gone and he took the saddening decision to annihilate himself. He was a brave man, a respectable noble, most highly and loved Brutus. Torn between loyalty to his friend or to his dear country, Rome. Marcus Brutus only had good intentions when he joined the plot against Caius Julius Caesar. Who was stabbed to death on March 15 by Brutus, Cassius, Trebonius, Casca, Decius, Cinna, and Metellus Cimber. Brutus was only part of the conspiracy because he felt the need to protect Rome which his family has been taking care of for centuries. He will never be forgotten and neither will his actions. The Romans will forgive him for killing Caesar because they know that Brutus only wanted the best for them.
