Stephanie Failmezger Mixed Media Works Ongoing until October 2 The WRAP Show October 8-November 12 This exhibit is an annual event sponsored in conjunction with the Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP). This will be a group exhibition of WRAP members including workshops and judging. Begin with a chakra opening guided meditation. Then move into using watercolors to express the chakra you are most drawn to. You will learn what your dominant chakra is, and we will work on opening chakras that may be dimmed. Be sure to bring a comfy pillow or blanket to make yourself comfortable during the meditation process. Drawing from Life: A Journal of Art October 15 @ 6-9 PM In this class, explore ways to train yourself to draw what you see, and not what you “think” you see. A series of drawing techniques, visual measuring tools, and exercises that will transform your drawing from life skills. All materials are included, plus you will receive an art journal and pack of colored pencils to take home. Basics of Figure Sketching: The Croquis October 16 @ 1-4 PM This three-hour class is the perfect opportunity for students to develop or refresh skills and become comfortable with the figure drawing process. There will be a live model in athletic wear. All materials are included. Reflections: The Art of Self Portraiture October 23 @ 1-3 PM In this two-hour session, take a good, hard look at yourself and put it on paper. Armed with an easel, drawing utensils, and a mirror, different visual and drawing techniques will give you the boost you need to make an accurate depiction of yourself. This class is designed for students of all levels.
