This Bellevue Arts Council event includes
a lineup of writers, artists, musicians,
and some hands-on crafts. This month
features author Kurt Wagner, who wrote
the newly released The Mouse Who Stirred
at Christmas. Kurt and his wife Tina will
explain how the book came about, a bit
about the process of writing a children’s
book, and even read excerpts for the
young (and young at heart) in the room.
They’ll also sign and sell copies of the
book. River Ridge Brewery will also be

There will be plenty of holiday cheer and
five hours of free music at Playathon 2016!
Northeast Iowa School of Music’s students
will perform five hours of free music at
“A Roshek Christmas” in the lobby of the
Roshek Building.
Free refreshments will be available
throughout the entire Playathon performance. Activity sheets will be available
for kids or adults. The recital is free, but
donati ons will be accepted. Proceeds
