Short Films have the power to grab people's attention and make them aware of important social
issues. After reviewing some of the best short films online, we are going to break into small
groups and make our own films about topics of your choice that encourages social change.

Reduce, Reuse and Make Art! Michal Abramoff
You know what they say "One man's trash is another man's treasure." We will be creating
treasures of our own in this class as we reuse unwanted material to create recycled works of
art. (limit 10 students)
Cookin' Through the Torah Jason Oruch
Food is used to nourish the body & soul. Our culture revolves around food; almost every
Jewish holiday & most Jewish rituals have a variety of culinary traditions. Each week teens will
create food that has a basis in the weekly Torah portion. Learn how to prepare traditional (&
some non traditional ) foods as you explore the wide array of ingredients. (limit 10 students)
