Video Games of 2017

1958 marks the creation and release of the first ever Video Game we know as ‘Pong’. 58 years have passed since then and we have seen major advancements including the incorporation of color, 3D graphics, and (now) virtual reality content! There can only be more advancements in the future but for now, we celebrate some of the most important titles in 2017.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End follows Nathan Drake whom presumably left the world of fortune hunting behind. After his brother reaches out to him on a case of Captain Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure, he is thrusted back into the world taking on the entire globe in jungle isles, urban cities and snow-capped peaks on the search for the fortune. This game takes home awards for best narrative and best performance.

In Overwatch, you control one of several heroes in competitive 6-person team shooting matches. Battle over objectives, take down the other team, and achieve victory. This game takes home the bulk of the awards winning best Multiplayer game, Studio/Game Company, Best ESPORTS game, and game of the year.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild comes from a long legacy that is continuing through many generations. With much unknown about the upcoming title (and it being 6 years since a new release under the LoZ name) it has earned the award of the most anticipated game of 2016
