help those in need

hen someone needs help
and doesn’t know where
to turn, there are many
civic organizations in Joshua that are
not only there to be a friend but are
also willing to lend a hand.
From donating food to giving
their time, the following organiza-
tions are there for residents who
need it most.
Crazy8 Ministries
A blend of four missions — bibli-
cal counseling and discipleship, con-
ference, outreach and housing pro-
grams — Crazy8 Ministries has pro-
vided mental, emotional and spiri-
tual stability as well as resources to
Johnson County residents to over-
come poverty barriers since 2011.
C8M was founded by Lisa
Schwarz, who is a national speaker,
published author, certified biblical
counselor, professional life coach
and brain health coach. She also
designs and develops events,
conferences, trainings and
workshops for diverse set-
tings throughout the
United States.
