Signum Fidei

The Signum Fidei( SF) programme, specially designed for Year 4 Integrated Programme students, offers a distinctive opportunity for participants to extend their learning beyond the classroom by transforming knowledge into practical, innovative solutions. The programme emphasises creativity, empathy and critical thinking— qualities that are often underexplored in conventional academic coursework. By doing so, SF invites students to step outside their comfort zones, embracing a dynamic environment of experimentation and discovery using principles of design thinking.
At the outset, students were invited to identify an organisation of their choice to collaborate with, ensuring the projects aligned with their personal interests and values. The breadth of partnerships reflected the diversity of the cohort. Some groups chose to explore issues of animal conservation with the Jane Goodall Institute and ACRES Singapore, while others delved into questions of environmental sustainability with Siemens Energy. Other groups collaborated with Food Bank, Caritas, The Intan, National Arthritis Foundation, among others. The wide spectrum of organisations demonstrated the programme’ s flexibility in catering to varied passions and interests.
