Joshua Chew En Xu( LE403)

Lasallian Distinguished Service Award
Joshua is a young man who embodies the heart of a Lasallian, guided by faith, marked by humility and committed to serving others with his many gifts. His time at SJI has been defined by innovation, leadership and deep compassion.
Grounded in his Catholic faith, Joshua leads with purpose and service. As Vice-President of the Guitar Ensemble, he helped the group achieve a Distinction at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation. On the Prefectorial Executive Committee, he co-led initiatives like the MaJeKaL Mission, supporting underprivileged students in Manila. He balances these responsibilities with a genuine desire to make a difference.
Joshua’ s innovative thinking stands out. His project The Hive 5, focused on elderly wellness, earned Distinction at the National Design Project 2023 and received praise from the Minister for Education. In the MOE Innovation Programme, he proposed solutions to address drunk driving, always driven by empathy and impact.
In science, he earned Silver at the International Biomedical Quiz and was awarded the A * STAR Science Award. He presented research at the Youth Science Conference and created educational videos on genetics.
Through global learning experiences and servant leadership, Joshua leaves a legacy of compassion, intellect and moral courage.

Kaedrin Herman Isaacs( ML401)

Lasallian Distinguished Service Award
Kaedrin’ s leadership at SJI is defined by empathy, humility and purpose. Rising through roles such as Class Vice-Chairman, Class Chairman, Peer Support Leader, FIDEI President, Head Prefect and Vice-Head Prefect, he shows a strong commitment to serving others and building community.
He leads through presence, always attentive to peers’ needs and offering support and guidance, especially in peer support. As FIDEI President, Kaedrin guided the Signum Fidei programme in 2025, focusing on human-centred initiatives like the collaboration with JGIS using Design Thinking. His dedication to service is seen in visits to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital and Oasis Hospice.
Kaedrin has earned the Colours Award for Taekwondo and performed in the Guitar Ensemble, including outreach at St. Teresa’ s Home. He has moderated discussions on Racial Harmony Day and taken part in meaningful experiences like the Manila IE Trip and visits to eldercare homes.
Academically, he placed second in English Literature, won a Gold Award in the Queen’ s Commonwealth Essay Competition and excelled in the National Chinese Text Recital Competition. He also completed the National Youth Achievement Award( Silver).
Kaedrin exemplifies Lasallian values of faith, service and community and is a deserving recipient of the Lasallian Distinguished Service Award.
