Beyond providing a platform for students to develop their athletic skills and potential , the CCA actively cultivates a sense of camaraderie and teamwork . Participation in competitions like the National School Games ( NSG ) and events organised by Singapore Athletics , alongside student-led initiatives such as CCA camps and Valuesin-Action projects , strengthen bonds and create lasting friendships . These experiences also help students develop leadership abilities and a strong sense of responsibility .
