The SJI Floorball team was formed in 2023 and has risen from strength to strength , making history and leaving its mark on the local floorball scene . Coming off a disappointing first-round exit in its maiden National School Games ( NSG ) in 2023 , the young team set its sights on a goal of a top 8 finish in 2024 and hunkered down in preparation . Through hard work , dedication and sacrifice , the team went unbeaten in its incredible journey from Pool 2 to League 1 . They went through to the quarterfinals and then the semifinals , beating more established schools along the way and eventually clinching the silver medal in the 2024 NSG Floorball competition .

Discipline , commitment and diligence form the cornerstone of SJI Floorball CCA . The team trains often and takes part in the Singapore Conference League over the weekends to expose the players to a higher level of competition . On top of that , other external competitions as well as friendly matches are lined up to prepare and give our players a chance to represent the school .

Leadership development is also emphasised in the CCA . Beyond attending school wide training programs , CCA leaders are entrusted with the day-to-day training sessions , Physical Training sessions and other special events such as the annual CCA camp .

The Floorball boys also contribute actively to the school community by volunteering for school-wide events such as the Annual Cross Country Meet , Track and Field Championships and Inter-class games .
