The year has been eventful for Prism , marked by extraordinary accomplishments and impactful community engagement . Our students have excelled in various social entrepreneurship competitions , showcasing their empathy , creativity , and problem-solving skills through innovative business models aimed at addressing real-world societal issues .

At the 2024 Southeast Asian Regional Young Entrepreneur Case Challenge , Team KEN achieved a commendable second-place finish , despite being the youngest team in the competition . In the Prudential Young Trailblazer Competition , PRISM demonstrated exceptional talent , with three of our teams securing top honors . Team Megasoft emerged as the Overall Champions and also won the Most Impactful Award . Meanwhile , Team Evoke and Team Janus were recognised with the Most Innovative Award and the Most Sustainable Award , respectively . Additionally , our participation in the Global Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge saw one of our teams advance to the finals , while our teams also earned second runner-up positions at both the CJC Nexus Business Competition and the ACS ( I ) EntreCon .

A significant highlight of this year was the organisation of the ‘ SJInnovation Challenge ,’ a Prism-led social entrepreneurship competition open to students from other educational institutions . The competition , themed “ Leveraging Technology to Foster Social Inclusivity ,” provided a meaningful platform for students to present innovative business ideas aimed at tackling societal issues in Singapore .

In line with our commitment to community service , Prism has demonstrated unwavering support for marginalised groups by fundraising for the Migrant Workers ’ Centre . The week-long “ Tunes For The Heart ” initiative featured stirring performances by students , teachers , Vice-Principals , and Mr . Pierre , which united the school community in support of a noble cause . Additionally , our “ Splash Dash ,” a Mahalo carnival event featuring a dodgeball-inspired water game , successfully raised over $ 800 for the Migrant Workers ’ Centre .

2024 has been a year filled with exhilarating competitions and heartwarming community activities , strengthening the bonds within the Prism community and reflecting our dedication to innovation and social impact .
