In today ’ s fast-paced work environment , the well-being of employees is paramount to fostering a productive and engaged workforce . At our organisation , the Staff Welfare Committee plays a crucial role in enhancing the work experience for everyone . This dedicated group of teachers works tirelessly to organise events , activities , and initiatives that support staff well-being and morale throughout the year .
The Staff Welfare Committee is a vital part of SJI . By promoting well-being and morale , the committee helps create a workplace where employees feel valued , supported , and motivated .
WELL-BEING DAYS
These special days are dedicated to providing staff with resources and activities that promote health and wellness . From yoga sessions and mindfulness workshops to nutrition talks and massages by visually handicapped masseurs , Well-Being Days encourage employees to take a break from their regular routines and focus on self-care .
SOCIAL EVENTS
To foster camaraderie and strengthen relationships among colleagues , the committee organised numerous social events such as Teachers Day lunch , Health checks , and themed lunches . These gatherings not only provided a much-needed break from work but also create opportunities for staff to connect , collaborate , and form lasting friendships .
SPECIAL TREATS AND SURPRISES
Who doesn ’ t love a surprise treat ? The committee often arranges surprise snacks , durian and fruits fiesta , and even a perfume sales day to brighten up the workday and show appreciation for staff efforts .
