In 2024 , the Ultimate Frisbee CAS experienced a dynamic year , marked by achievements in competitions , community outreach , team development , and leadership growth .
The team participated in the Inter-Junior College Games from 18 - 19 May , where they managed to clinch 9th place , winning against schools such as Anglo-Chinese Junior College and Dunman High . This accomplishment was the result of rigorous training sessions focused on enhancing strategic play , physical fitness , working with new teammates and playing together as one .
Team-building was an integral component of the CAS ’ activities this year . Regular unofficial training sessions were organised to strengthen team cohesion and harmony , with
team dinners to grow together as a team platonically too . The team also had a friendly match with Jurong Pioneer Junior College , in which they managed to utilise the strategies learnt , as well as obtain better game sense . The focus on team-building was crucial to their competitive successes , and also ensured that when the Year 6 team members stepped down , the Year 5s were able to work together efficiently and maintain a positive team culture .
Overall , 2024 was a highly successful year for the Ultimate Frisbee CAS , characterised by competitive success , meaningful community engagement , and strong leadership growth , and will continue to improve in years to come . Disc in !
