Displaying a calm and confident demeanour , Raiden is driven by passion with an unflagging determination to excel in his pursuits and interests . He has demonstrated commendable commitment and dedication to his duties and has discharged them unfailingly , with great enthusiasm .
Raiden is articulate , communicating very well with his peers and is sensitive to the needs and welfare of others . Ever ready to offer assistance to everyone around , he develops mutual support and rapport with others , influencing them with a sense of energy and enthusiasm to develop a positive attitude .
Raiden joined the Student Council and was part of the Faith Executive Committee . In the committee , Raiden participated very actively in the planning and execution of major school events , with the aim of supporting the school ’ s mission and strengthening the school spirit . In line with this , Raiden was heavily involved in the crafting of activities to create awareness of the school ’ s history to incoming Year 5 students during the Orientation Camp 2023 ; and the planning and execution of a Christmas Bake Sale and donation drive to aid Canossaville Children and Community Services in 2022 . Raiden has shown keen interest in exploring different possibilities of activities that will engage students more effectively . This was demonstrated through the passionate discussion and planning of engaging activities for the incoming students to know more and appreciate the history and heritage of the school . Also , Raiden was the councillor in-charge of the Youth Leadership Dialogue 2023 held in school for pre-tertiary schools in Singapore . The dialogue was an opportunity for student leaders in Singapore to learn and share best practices and ideas to be better leaders for their own community .
Believing in the nurturing of leaders for the community , Raiden was part of the organising team for the Lasallian Leadership Training Camp in 2022 and the organising team mentor in 2023 . Raiden was observed to be very passionate and very active in sharing and mentoring fellow student leaders from other CAS groups to develop their potential and leadership skills .
Raiden was also a very active member of the Debate Society . In 2022 , in a team of five , Raiden participated in the 8th Oldham Cup organised by Anglo-Chinese Junior College . He displayed good rapport with his teammates and articulated his thoughts well , allowing him to contribute to the three wins out of six debates participated in . Raiden also participated in the international War of Words Debating Championship ( WWDC ) 2022 . Facing established and experienced school teams and even the Singapore Debate National team , he and his teammates managed to reach the quarter finals and placed the school on an international standing .
Overall , Raiden has demonstrated the ability to achieve desired results and is able to perform well in spite of changing priorities and deadlines . He can be entrusted to use good judgement and display strong analytical qualities . In school and his personal pursuits , Raiden has displayed that he is a disciplined , trustworthy and responsible leader . He inspires the cooperation and confidence of others and is able to take his team forward when faced with adversity . Indeed , he embodies the ideal traits of a true Lasallian .
