It is with great honour that we are given the opportunity to take on the role as Captain and Vice-Captains of the Tennis team . We are extremely grateful yet deeply saddened by the impending departure of the graduating seniors from the tennis team , as they have guided and taught us many things throughout our years here in SJI .
Despite having this year ’ s Nationals being cut short , it has been an exciting journey with them . They have been very encouraging and patient with the entire team . Without their guidance , we may not have gotten past the difficult group stage matches . It is with thanks to their guidance that we were able to make it to the semi-finals . Unfortunately , our journey was sadly and unexpectedly shortened due to the COVID19 pandemic .
We are excited to continue this journey in the coming year with the team and look forward to leading them to our best performance yet . As we look forward to another fruitful , enriching and successful campaign ahead , on behalf of all the players in the Tennis CCA , we would like to wish our graduating seniors all the best in their future endeavours !.
