2020 Year 4 Tennis Team
The year was one of multiple ups and downs for us . Our season was one rocked by uncertainty and it tested our strength to the limits . We were able to pull through as a team and made it into the semi-finals .
Unfortunately , as with many competitions , our season came to a premature end when all National School Games were postponed and subsequently cancelled due to the Corona virus . We were unhappy but at the same time pleased that we had managed to get this far .
Looking back , it is the strong teamwork and friendship which helped us to pull through the trials and tribulations which were presented to us . Without a doubt , we would do it all over again if we had to !
It was a bittersweet feeling when it dawned upon us that we had all played our final match in the Green and White . However , we are all glad and grateful to have had the opportunity to represent the school in this National Championship . This tennis team will forever be a part of all of our hearts .
On behalf of the graduating players , we wish our juniors all the best in next year ’ s competition .
