seniors banded together to tackle a sophisticated rendition of Hotel California by the legendary Eagles . The performance by Kristoforus Bryant , Matthew Mok , Theron Lim and Danny , was extremely well received by the audience . Even the judges were left awestruck by the level of talent and skill displayed by the boys .
NJC Charity Concert On the night of 17th April 2014 , the SJI Guitar Ensemble was invited to perform at the NJC Charity Concert as guest performers . Held at the Raffles Hotel Jubilee Hall , the senior ensemble played a Beatles ’ medley , followed by “ Hey Duke ! Glenn ’ s Here ”. The concert was well received by the guests . The event was also immensely meaningful for us .
St . Teresa ’ s Home Easter Concert This concert , which was made up of performances by the many Aesthetics CCA groups in SJI , was dedicated to the elderly in St . Teresa ’ s Home . The Junior Ensemble kicked off the Guitar performance by playing “ Skaters ’ Waltz ”, and the senior ensemble continued with “ Hey Duke ! Glenn ’ s Here ” and “ Mountains In Autumn ”, the same two songs that were performed during the Guitar Festival .

Trinity College London Examinations Both the Senior and Junior Ensembles took the Trinity College London Practical Examinations to benchmark their musical standards by an internationally recognized examination board . The examinations offer a performance-based assessment which develops programme planning skills as well as performance preparation . Both ensembles achieved remarkable results . The Senior Ensemble scored 78 / 100 for the advanced level while the Juniors scored 80 / 100 for the intermediate level .
