Competition Team The SJAB Zone 3 First Aid is a competition to gauge the ability of cadets to take charge in times of emergency . It is a showcase of the First Aid and drill techniques and skills .
The Competition team consists of the 5 best cadets in a squad ; with one competition team from each squad representing the school in inter school competitions . It was highly competitive . The hard work and sacrifices paid off as we won the competition with a Gold Corps Achievement award . This , certainly , added a feather to our cap !
Chief Commissioner ’ s Award Apart from First Aid , cadets are encouraged to pursue other interests , through the Cadet Proficiency Badge scheme . The Chief Commissioner ’ s Award is the highest award a SJAB cadet can achieve under the Cadet Proficiency Badge Scheme . In order to qualify to receive the award , one must collect a total of 12 CPBS Badges , attained the Total Defence Gold Award and passed Knowledge of the Order of St . John .
