NATIONAL CADET CORPS - NCC ( AIR )
In 2013 , the SJI NCC Air Unit was awarded its 12th Gold Award in the Best Unit Competition 2012 . 3 teachers were awarded the NCC Long Service Medal , namely CPT ( NCC ) Melvin Ho , CPT ( NCC ) Mok Hsu Pan and CPT ( NCC ) Calvin Ow Yong . Ms Rita Roop joined the unit as the Administrative Officer at the beginning of the year .

Developing the Passion for Aviation The key difference between NCC Air and other Uniformed Groups is our devotion to the refined art of aviation . Our Aeromodelling team , following countless hours of exhausting training , is ready to represent SJI NCC Air in the upcoming Aeromodelling competition .

Nurturing New Leaders Despite the reluctance of the unit as a whole to let the Secondary Fours go , it is a necessity that we must face every year . However , remembering the past is no excuse for sacrificing the future , and the new Secondary Three cadets are groomed to become capable leaders who will lead SJI NCC Air onward to greater heights .
