161st UG Anniversary Parade ( AP ) The Scouts are proud to have done well during the AP . Before the AP , the Scouts began selecting those who were skillful in drills to go for training . After weeks of hard work marching , standing at attention , and going for rehearsals , they all performed their best for the final test , and a final list was drawn to decide who will participate in the actual Parade . When the day came , they gave it their all . It was an honour for the unit to send its best to participate in a parade that celebrated SJI ’ s 161st Anniversary .

Do Good Initiative 2013 The Do Good Initiative , a campaign launched by the Fairprice Foundation , aims to encourage Singaporeans to perform simple acts of good deeds , and to share the joy of giving with their family and friends . By taking the initial steps towards doing good , the Foundation hopes that everyone can be an influence to family members , friends and the broader community to do the same .
Likewise our scouts also launched the Do Good @ SJI initiative to encourage fellow Josephians to perform simple acts of good deeds , and to share the joy of giving with their family and friends . We are happy that our efforts placed us among the top 10 teams in Singapore and the results would be announced on 23 November 2013 .
