Stepping Up Ceremony and SJI 161st UG Anniversary Parade
Stepping Up Ceremony The Secondary 4s have the O levels coming up at the end of the year and thus cannot lead the SJI Pelandok Scout unit any longer . Therefore there was a change of command as they stepped up to the Venture Unit and passed the responsibility on to the Secondary 3s . The Scouts assembled at the hall on the noon of 13 July , to witness the ceremony . In the hall , the Scouts watched intently as the Secondary 4s and Secondary 3s marched to the middle , and the Secondary 4s handed over their lanyards to the Secondary 3s . A farewell video was played . Goodbyes were said and the atmosphere was solemn , sad and joyous at the same time . After the ceremony , a larger event awaited .
