Racial Harmony Day The Chinese Cultural Society worked with the other cultural societies to put together a food fair during the Racial Harmony Day celebration . While we enjoyed tasting the different delicacies from other cultures , we also contributed to the Students ’ Pocket Money Fund .

National Chinese Music Competition We sent a team to compete in the National Chinese Music Competition which was held at the end of November . They played “ The Almighty Drums ” ( 秦王点兵 ), a folk song from China Jiangzhou ( Shanxi ). This was definitely a good experience and exposure for the team as they competed with many other young Chinese music lovers in Singapore .
