Joseph Brant Hospital 2017 Annual Report JBH Annual Report 2017 final | Page 23
Message from the JBH Foundation President and Board Chair
To our Donors, Volunteers and Friends,
In the fall of 2016, we launched the community phase of
the Our New Era Campaign and invited Burlington to
Join the J. And we have received an incredible response
from our community. When the new Patient Tower opens in August 2017, you will
see first-hand what we’ve achieved as a community. And
with renovations continuing through 2018, our community
will have a new Joseph Brant Hospital thanks to your support.
We were honoured to announce a transformational gift from
the Pasquale and Anita Paletta Family of $5 Million. And
thanks to their extraordinary generosity and leadership, their
gift is a match challenge, whereby the Pasquale and Anita
Paletta Family Match Challenge will match all donations made
up to $5 Million. When fully realized, this Match Challenge will
help us to raise the final $10 Million towards our $60 Million
goal, and will dramatically improve healthcare for you, your
family and your community for generations to come. On behalf of the Foundation Board of Directors and staff,
thank you for Joining the J and making a difference for
healthcare in Burlington.
Thank you to all of our donors and supporters for Joining the
J, and supporting leading-practice healthcare close to home.
We are proud to count you among our supporters, and we
truly believe that when we come together as a community, we
can make big things happen.
