JOINING THE NAC BOARD OF TRUSTEES
You must be :
At least eighteen years old and able to attend some meetings in person , meetings can also be attended virtually . As a building-based charity our location is a huge part of who we are and what we do , but we are keen to be as inclusive as possible . Travel expenses will be paid to trustees who live outside the city .
What are we looking for in trustees ?
• A commitment to supporting our work and willingness to undertake any training ( formal and informal ) that would be useful in developing your experience and expertise as a trustee .
• Ability to devote a reasonable amount of time to attend Board meetings and to read the papers .
• Enthusiasm for the positive role that the arts and culture can play in people ’ s lives .
• A commitment to ensuring equal opportunities and increasing diversity at all levels of the organisation .
HOW TO APPLY Please email admin @ newhamptonarts . co . uk for an application form . The form can be filled out either as a Word document , or you can record a short video version with your replies to the questions . Please send your document or video / link to your video ( eg on Youtube , Vimeo ) to admin @ newhamptonarts . co . uk no later than 5:00pm on Friday 22 October
We will then invite selected candidates to a short informal interview ( either online or in person depending on circumstances ) and those successful will go on to attend a board meeting at which they can meet the rest of the Board and get a real feel for the work of the Board , before joining formally .
